At last we have some plants ready for sale thanks to the help of our fantastic volunteers and staff!
While the first of our summer bedding plants ready some will be another couple of weeks and the availability list will be updated daily on the website. We are also ready to start making hanging baskets for our customers, but as usual you will need to bring in the baskets to be filled and talk to the staff (at a social distance!) about what plants you want in them.
Restrictions at the moment mean we are unable to open to the public for customers to come in and browse but we have been creative in finding ways to get plants to you:
Click and Collect: You can go to our Plants for Sale online page where you can see pictures of the plants with descriptions and order online for Click and Collect at the Hub.
By Phone on 01475 553570 between 9:15 and 2pm. You can download our order form at the top of the page.
Email: You can fill out an order form above and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will call you back to arrange payment over the phone and you can collect your plants at the Hub.
Collection: If you place your order online or by phone we will give you an order number and a time slot to come to Broomhill Hub to collect your plants. Your order should be made up and waiting for you. On arrival please park in the car park and stay in your car. A member of staff will come out to you and deal with your order.
***Please note: Several customers may be allocated the same 1hr time slot giving you some flexibility within your arrival time. We appreciate your patience if there are others waiting, we will work hard to get your plants to you.
Home delivery – Both telephone and online orders can be delivered to your door locally, but only for those less able or customers who are self isolating. We anticipate a high demand for this service and your order will be delivered by one of our volunteers. We will do our very best to get the order to you within a few days. We would prefer these orders to be pre-paid on ordering to allow zero contact. There will be a £15 minimum order and a small £3 delivery charge to cover the volunteers’ petrol costs.
We understand everyone is keen to get some glorious colour into their gardens, tubs and baskets. We expect the phone lines to be very busy and we are refining/working out our new systems as we go along! The most important thing is the safety of our staff, volunteers and you our customers so please bear with us as things could be subject to change at short notice.
Thank you for your patience and continued support!
